Sina won an EMMY award for Outstanding Visual Effects in a Supporting Role for the Fox TV show Gotham and HBO Series Westword, AND she is THE FIRST Cambodian American to do so. She has collaborated on numerous award-winning projects and was also nominated for her work and creative vision on Transformers: Dark of the Moon, Alice in Wonderland, and Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. Her training began at the Art Institute of Los Angeles where she majored in Computer Science on a full scholarship. At the ArtCenter College of Design she was awarded the Chrysler Scholarship for Women in Design. With other 20 years of work in computer animation and visual effects, Sina is driven by challenges in the creative visual arts and is dedicated to exploring new and exciting subjects in the realm of visual story telling.
