The Pioneer Cinema Institute is Cambodia’s first film school and a world class institution of higher learning committed to the highest standards of education. We offer a two year intensive certificate program with the option of a four year Bachelors degree in collaboration with other Universities.
The first year builds a comprehensive foundation in history, theory, technology, and hands on production. The second year revolves around the collaborative production of a professionally executed short film. Students will get the opportunity to crew on a feature film and learn the advanced applications of their chosen specialization.
Every year the Pioneer Cinema Institute will produce a feature film aimed at inspiring and empowering the Cambodian people, particularly its youth, and showcasing the history, culture and natural attractions of Cambodia for world audiences.
